Do you watch Deep Sea Dectectives?

Do you pour over National Geographic Magazines where
underwater discoveries are spread across it's glossy pages?

Fess up, how many times have you read Shadow Divers?

There's a little adventurer in every SCUBA diver, if you enjoy the dream of finding a new
species of sculpin or locating the wreck of a gold ship then you might have fun joining the
Exploration Team.

ADC believes that it is imperative that we preserve, protect, and document our marine
resources and heritage. We have several projects we are working on this year and will keep
this page updated on the progress.

Townsend Bay Mapping Project
With the use of side scan sonar, and live boat dives to points of interest we will be
documenting Townsend Bay this year. It's a big bay, but with the help of technology we can
cover area efficiently and be able to locate and map points of interest including wrecks in the
bay. Then with each year we can continue to record and document their position, condition,
and development of wildlife around the structures.

Blakely Harbor Mapping Project
Blakely Harbor was the largest mill in the United States during a crucial period of American
History. Our investigative dives have us using side scan on this historically important harbor
as well. With the largest mill, and a shipyard in the bay we are looking forward to learning more.

"The Crane"
We are off to locate a crane in nearby waters with the top of the crane sitting at 60fsw. More
details as we get them.
